No artistic representation of Jesus puts Him anywhere because the portrayal of a person is distinct from the person portrayed. Do you also hold it is wrong to portray Christ's birth because Jesus is now grown up?
The Church celebrates the Resurrection as the holiest day of the year and teaches that the God-Man Jesus was glorified and ascended to heaven. The faith-alone / faith-and-works debate is a separate issue.
