None of what either one of us has posted matters because it conflicts with their egos.
Admitting they are wrong would mean converting to Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy.
It’s easier to play ostrich than have to confront the idea that their scriptural interpretations were not shared by early Christians.

None of what either of you have posted matters not because it conflicts with anyone's egos. It conflicts with God's Word. There is nothing in Catholicism that is in harmony with the Bible. There is no final authority that we can all agree on to settle issues to everyone's satisfaction. There is no conflict resolution because you trust your religious institutions for their final authority. And we trust God's Word of Truth as our final authority.
It's very egotistical of you to think that being "right" would mean converting to Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy. So...who has the "ego" problem?
As soon as you can PROVE from God's Word your beliefs, then we have a starting point. Until then, your spitting in the wind with your doctrines and traditions being on "equal par" with God's infallible Word.
