Who have Jewish people been able to vote for for President who has NOT been a Christian within the history of this Republic?
I reject the premise.
Many Evangelicals do “cringe” at the thought of a Mormon becoming President - a Jewish person becoming Vice President - not so much.
I think, right or wrong, that sentiment MUST be addressed by any serious political party with an eye towards VICTORY.

The Dem Jewish vote generally goes to more-secular candidate. In other words, between a serious Christian and secular "ethnically Christian", the Jewish vote goes mostly to the latter.
I rephrase the question: should we consider it bigoted for a Jewish voter to reject a candidate PURELY because the candidate is a devout Christian?
