Problem is that there are a LOT of Catholics who see Latin as a “dead language” though.

Even if Latin is a dead language, it is still an official language of the church. It is the basis for many languages and the derivative of many english words.

Irrespective of the language, the Mass is much more solemn and historic. Perhaps because the public did not fully understood the words, there was a more prayerful silent awe of the Mass.

I don’t think, we will return to a Latin Mass (Tridentine) although it is still available in a few places.

I feel everyone should have an opportunity to experience it.
