You ought to look to the US government and Franklin D. Roosevelt who knew for years that Jews were being tutored and killed for years and could have stopped it because they had the ability and military to do it. The blood is on our governments hands, not the Catholic Church who has no army and did all it could to stop the atrocities
Tell that to a WWII veteran... America never signed any agreements with Hitler, YOUR Pope on the other hand did. I find your reply highly demeaning to the sacrifices of many American soldiers especially considering we are just a few days removed from Veteran's day.

As for soldiers, they do what they are commanded to do even if their commander and chief like the evil Roosevelt leads them astray which happens all the time.
