Has someone done that? If so, ask them their reasons. I have given you Luther’s reasons for adding the word IN GERMAN. I have linked for you his entire explanation. Since I am not German, I cannot speak from personal experience - but since Luther’s translation is still used daily in Germany after 500 years, I’d say he did a pretty good job of it.
