Clement of Alexandria (150-211/216 A.D.) also called the bread and wine symbols of the body and blood of Christ, and taught that the communicant received not the physical but the spiritual life of Christ

the Catholic Church has been here for 2,000 and all these Fathers were in the Church. and it should be no suprise they all believed the Catholic Faith.

are you saying Clement believed that Christ could be divided into the physical and spiritual, so there are two Christ’s, not one?
