And what will Tim say when he fails in a game? Will he blame God? Tim, I like you. But I do not believe that God opposed the Dolphins, which is the back side of your claim. God may be rooting for TB regardless of what team he happens to plays for. Some people root for the player and are indifferent to the team.

I will have to research this but I believe Jesus likes Dolphins normally pan seared in a light olive oil with cuscus and a hint of lemon.

Me too. I hope he does well.

Public expressions of faith in Jesus Christ have been a part of the life of America from its earliest days. For any who doubt that fact, I recommend a visit to a collection of such expressions, entitled
"A Few Declarations of Founding Fathers and Early Statesmen on Jesus, Christianity, and the Bible" . David Barton at Wallbuilders has provided facts to counteract the fiction which has been perpetrated by revisionist historians about the faith of the Founders.
The kind of ignorance displayed by those who find comments by private citizens like Tim Tebow to be threatening or simply inappropriate is appalling.
America was founded on a philosophy far different than the oppressive, offensive political-correctness-masked-as-progressivism of today.
Shame on our schools and 'public' institutions which promote the idea that freedom of expression about Christian faith is in any way inappropriate or threatening to anybody.

Jesus had nothing to do with controlling the outcome of a football game. Are you quite sure about that?
In any event the point, ably addressed by numerous replies, is that prayers of thankfulness are appropriate whatever the circumstances (in this case the outcome of the game). The true purpose of prayer is not "Gimme!" but "Here are my requests: thy will be done."

At least his uniform is...

Thanking Divinity for wins in sporting events always made me cringe, yeah, God had 3:1 on the Broncos so he gave Mr. Tebow some juice.
I wonder what God’s fantasy league looks like?

Does this mean Jesus doesnt like dolphins?
It must. That's also why He wills them to get caught in fishing nets.

I never said I wanted them to shut up, not at all, just saying how silly I think it is. By "silly" I assume you mean a bunch of large grown men in tights and helmets chasing a ball around a field in front of thousands of hysterically screaming adults for a couple of utterly meaningless hours?

I am glad the Broncos won. It's really a shame that a guy is hounded for his faith in what was once a Christian country, while a dog-killing punk like Vick is lionized.Kurt Warner had to deal with the same thing. But, like Tebow, he attracted a lot of fans, because of his faith, especially at the end of his career with the Cardinals.

Most games, after the game is over, Christian Athletes gather in prayer for anyone injured during the game and to thank God for the competition and the continued opportunities. Have you ever noticed that Christian athletes will kneel in prayer when someone is badly injured, during the timeout to bring the fallen competitor to medical treatment?

The article says he thanked Jesus and his team mates in the same sentence for believing in him.Thats prety much a personal thank you for the win.I watched this on TV. There was a pause before the mention of his teammates. I would have put a period there in the article.
