Oh for the love of heaven.

I’m sick of being interrogated by dispensationalists and other Prots who think I (or ANY Catholic) answers to them!

And then, no matter what we answer, it’s somehow wrong. Once again, you are not my authority and I do not answer to you.

Judith Anne, I just asked you a question about the Beatitudes. No harm intended. And no, I do not think, nor do any non-Catholics on this forum think that you or any Catholic answers to us. You answer to God. That’s it. That’s who we all answer to.

I think there must be some modern theological retake on the beatitudes; they don't apply to this, but to that, yada, yada. As for me… gimme that ole time religion!

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain, and when he was set down, his disciples came unto him.
And opening his mouth he taught them, saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
