Fewer things are obvious to me than are obvious to you,

but missing the point is one of my specials kills for which I am so justly famous.

However, whatever the 'point' is, if one of the arguments on which it is based has a flaw, it's not irrelevant to note the flaw. If Cyrus can be a christ, then Obama, even Obama, can do good works appointed by God without saving faith in the God in whose hands he is and w-ho directs his actions.

You, as it were, fired one gun in your battery. I wasn't going for the whole battery, much less to occupy the field. I just took a potshot at the one gun, since it seemed exposed and defenseless.

However valid your reasons for seeking to take the field, you won't get it by firing guns so exposed to counter-fire, IMHO.

“whose hands he is and who directs his actions”? Obama took an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of this land. If God puts authority in place then you must agree that the Constitution and the laws were set by those who God put in place. Would God then put in place a person who disobeys those laws? If God tells us to obey the laws of those He puts in place how could He then put someone in place who breaks those laws and still “direct his actions”?
