Obama and the Rev Wright are a different matter because Obama was going to discount the conservative Christians, no matter what.

Making an issue of Romney’s Mormon beliefs gives Romney an excuse to move to the center, which is what Romney would like to do. Romney is no conservative and he sees conservatives as dragging him down. He doesn’t think he needs conservatives to win the election. We want to pressure him to the right, but not on his religion, on substantive issues that will persuade other types of conservative voters.

WHY do you want to "pressure him to the right"?

So that he will win the nomination by persuading OTHER TYPES of conservative voters?

Are you a Romney supporter?

I just want him to drop out of US politics completely.

I see your point but at the same time I see that Christians are told to stand down on their beliefs and except the mormon cult as another form of their faith. If Rove and others in the GOP do that, they will lose this election because devout christians won’t comprise their faith.

Notice the inconsistency of Eva's logic:
She claims that pressure from the right on Romney's...
...religion will move him center; but
...social stances will move him right.

Hmmm...Can you say somethin's lame in that brain?

Where's the consistency in that logic?

If you claim that pressure on his religion from say, Evangelicals, will just move him away from conservatives & toward tolerant mainline Protestants, some Catholics, etc....then why won't pressure from say, social-issues conservatives likewise move him toward social-issue moderates & away from us?

Please. Stop exporting such two-faced illogical nonsense.
