What's so weird is that at one time FDR (liberal icon)pushed a button on his desk symbolically lighting up a cross on "public land". Nobody in 1943 thought it was anything to get bunched up about. Now we have a lunatic fringe that would spend millions of dollars to prevent such an event from ever happening.

I've always wondered just why a person would spend their entire LIVES trying to oppose things they don't even believe in. I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, but if "he" appeared at a public park, I couldn't care less.
