Thank you for that post. My dad died recently and he was very afraid. He refused to face it. I’ve been so sad about it and so upset that he approached it with fear. I hope, in those last moments, he felt the wonder and peace you describe and that this writer felt.
I just watched a movie on cable called “DMT, Spirit Molecule” that explores this issue. I understand some Doctors are giving their late stage Cancer patients the drug Psilocybin to aid in their anxiety. Johns Hopkins is conducting a study: http://www.bpru.org/cancer-studies/
Did your father suffer long
Did your father suffer long
My father died of a brain tumor last December. It was horrible to say the least and so sudden. I’m still reeling from it in many ways. The tumor took him away from us before his actual death.
Before he became ill, he told me he was not afraid of death, just looked at it as the next big adventure.
Reading stories about NDE’s gives me a measure of comfort. My father was a believer in Christ and I imagine sometimes all of the beauty and wonder he is experiencing now.
” he felt the wonder and peace you describe and that this writer felt.”
If he felt that peace, then he is ok. It is a beam of light that brings it on. I’ve been there many times and crossed over myself. Your prayers are what really helped him. They work.
