Of course you are correct. I think you misread my point, and that’s ok as I kept it brief and that left it open for misinterpretation. No way I’d want an enforced Christian view and never suggested that.

Actually, the real origin/source of the problem is.....Christians! The church has failed to be ‘salt & light’ to the world, looks just like the world, thinks/acts just like the world. The vast majority of Christians believe in their heads, but their lives don’t support their beliefs. It is this contradiction that has allowed the Marxist/atheist world view to take over.

I didn’t want to get into that in my post as that opens a whole different subject....

Yes, the origin is Christians. They, and their churches, have failed to be salt and light to their most important and **urgent** mission field: Their children!

A Christian's **most** important and urgent mission is his own children! His next most important mission is the children of his own congregation.

By sending children into government schools that in the beginning were lukewarm and generic, then secular ( with a nod to God), and now utterly godless, Christians are failing at their most important task as Christians.
