I was in Chicago O'Hare today and saw a cleric dressed in a purple monk's robe (it was NOT a scarlet cassock), and he was wearing a bluish jacket, business cut, with a faint purple sheen to it. He also had a gold colored rope that he wore as a belt, and the tasseled ends were almost touching the ground. He didn't look Roman Catholic, or even Episcopalian. Any idea of what he might belong to? PS, I didn't speak with him...
Thanks.
Minister of Silly Walks?
Maybe a priest of the One True Religion, Vengaza - the Church of the Flying Spaghetti MonsterNaw, not unless he was wearing a colander on his head. Story
That “could” be him. Thanks. That photo shows a less rumpled person than I saw. Interesting that it might have been the Assyrian patriarch... I had some dealings with the Chaldean church a while ago...
The Order of the Leaping Virilians?
