I prefer to be called Theist in as much as I know there is a great creator of all things, however I believe that all organized religion is only about egoistic idiots full of themselves and the money they can extract from the eyes glazed over believers.

That’s ironic. I’ve always believed those theists that eschew organized religions were egotistical idiots full of themselves because they’ll acknowledge a creator, but catagorically refuse to acknowledge any revelation or authority about that creator higher than their own opinion, no matter how haphazardly formed.
You are correct. In being so you will have to withstand the lashes of spaghetti noodles from those who are so incaple of acknowledging God that they can’t follow Him without the guidance of someone else to tell them what to do and how to think.
