Hogwash! They are great liars. If you are talking about the young missionaries the ones that don’t look you in the face are the new ones. The older ones have mroe practice.

I was taught to lie (no joke) while training for my LDS mission. LOL, look away with a tear??? Yea we were taught that too, it was a way to get invited back - look interested and ‘seeking’. eyeroll.

I usually have the missionaries over for dinner - 2 hour captive audience and the poor boys need feeding. I never let them pray though, we do all the prayers as I will not agree in prayer with a non-believer.

That might be true, but even the supervisor of those guys couldn’t lie to save his life.

You have got to be kidding. I mean really. That really is humorous. Again I will not speak for yourself but not one single time while training for my mission did I ever even hear of anything like that.

Look away with a tear to be invited back? Yeah right!
