It’s not that I’m a Mormon.
Pure, unadulterated Christianity has three parts:
— man-to-God: have faith in God and his plan (be faithful)
— man-to-others: love they neighbor (be good)
— man-to-world: be mentally tough (be stoic)
Most of the rest is fluff, but what people still argue about endlessly.
Before anyone flames me, I want to acknowledge that “fluff” is not the word to use to describe the common focus of Christianity, that is, Christ as a personal savior. You don’t need to defend that.
