Using a dictionary definition to affirm whether or not someone is a Christian is not a solid argument.
Mormon baptisms are not recognized by any other “mainstream” Christian denomination, just like the baptisms of those other denoms are not recognized by the mormons.
So, if the mormons were truly Christians, it stands to reason that the baptisms would be recognized, right?
So the parts about personal experiences, quoting directly from lds sources, posting articles written by lds press is not giving the straight skinny?

If you talk to Mormons you should also check what their official church teachings are. Mormons often use similar terminology to Christians and seem to be on the surface just any other Christian church.
However, if you study what their official doctrines are, you’ll see they are contradictory to biblical Christianity. For instance, the official teachings from the mormon scriptures is that Jesus is one of many gods who used to be a man and earned his divinity. That view does not align with Christianity.
Just because mormons use the same words doesn’t mean they have the same understanding as Christians.
I thought you said you were a Christian....when did you become my judge? I thought the whole point of your many posts was that we shouldn’t judge another person’s heart. Yet, here you are judging my heart.

I've been watching Beck, and almost every day he told his audience to pray for our country. Who else did that? He quoted scripture against abandoning Israel. He organized a prayer meeting on the mall.
Maybe a lot of this hostility is jealousy? They've clearly been blessed, hasn't your church been?

If you want to know how mormons answer “Whence cometh your salvation?” then refer to their scriptures and you’ll find a works based salvation, so I’m not sure why you state you got some very good answers.

The statement that you made, “I thought you said you were a Christian?” strongly implies that you have doubts that I am a Christian - why is that?

I’m on this board to warn people of the errors of mormonism. Many people feel that because mormons generally are politically conservative, are kind, and use Christian terminology, they are a valid Christian organization, which is not true.
Well mean green team, seems dila misses something VERY big. Beck constantly injects his mormonism into his programs and activities.
And yet we are wrong some how for connecting the dots.
You just don’t want to face up to it, but you know it is true and this is the reason so many people attacked me.

Because someone who believes in Jesus Christ would have immediately accepted the observation that Jesus wouldn’t have engaged in this forum.

Since you like interpretations, the Geneva study Bible says “We must judge according to the truth of things, lest men turn us from the truth and carry us away.”
Matthew Henry says “And amidst the disputes which disturb the world, if any man, of any nation, seeks to do the will of God, he shall know whether the doctrine is of God, or whether men speak of themselves. Only those who hate the truth shall be given up to errors which will be fatal.”
Paul gave the Bereans as an example of checking to see if what a man said was the Word of God and judging whether or not it was truth...
“Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” Acts 17:11
Since I dont think you have posted any scripture from the Christian Bible, are you a Berean or a Thessalonican ???
So, you have judged me just like I said!
You doubt that myself and many others aren’t true Christians based upon a limited review of postings....yet you fault anyone who doubts whether mormons like Beck are true Christians based upon the many, many statements that have made.
It sure seems hypocritical of you to judge others as unauthentic Christians when they have only pointed out the false teachings of mormonism.
