"she was preserved from all stain of original sin and BY A "SPECIAL GRACE FROM GOD committed no sin of any kind during her whole earthly life. 493 The Fathers of the Eastern tradition call the Mother of God “the All-Holy” (Panagia), and celebrate her as “free from any stain of sin, as though fashioned by the Holy Spirit and formed as a new creature”. By the GRACE OF GOD, Mary remained free of every personal sin her whole life long."

Why leave out the rest??? Including the rest is a WORSE indictment than the shorter version. Do you think you have proven your point by citing the entire Catechism paragraphs listed? It proves nothing of what you have been saying the Church teaches. In fact, it proves the very opposite. It proves that Mary, rather it be by supernatural powers or whatever, was considered PERFECTLY SINLESS HER ENTIRE LIFE. Which is exactly what the problem is. If she was, she had no need of a Savior. Period. How the Catholic Church can teach she was perfectly sinless her entire life, and Christ was her Savior from sin, is one of the most ironic teachings to come down the pike. And that's saying a lot. And I know, I have just joined your list of "do not reply to" posters. Consider it done. But your point was lost trying to make your point. It cannot be both ways. Unless there are a boatload of pawns ready to accept anything in order to defend the indefensible.

It proves that Mary, rather it be by supernatural powers or whatever,

Not whatever, by the Grace of God.

Preserved, kept from, as in without it she would not have been sinless.

I don’t understand the objection or why it is worse. Do we not say that our sins are forgiven, forgotten as if they never happened by the Grace of God? Do we not strive to “sin no more” as Jesus told us and pray for the grace to be “perfect even as My Father in Heaven is perfect”?

Mary needed a Savior and Jesus is that Savior, she was saved from sin when she was created in her mother’s womb and by God’s Grace she remained without sin.

Just as we are saved from sin by Jesus’ sacrifice, so too was Mary but as it says, in a singular and unique way. And just as sin holds no power over us because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, it held no power over Mary from the time of her conception.

Hers is the same Savior through the same sacrifice and victory over death, just received in anticipation of her cooperation with God to bring the Messiah to His children.

It’s really not that hard to understand or accept.

As Uriel(sorry easiest way for me to type it) said here, God is the Creator of the time and space continuum, the entire universe. He is outside time and so is Jesus and not bound by it as we are. Therefore, if He chose to do for Mary what He does for us all when she was conceived, He can certainly do so.

As for my do not reply list.

I do not fear honest debate which sticks to the subject at hand and does not resort to cheap shots when one has lost control of the argument.

Your reply is honest, albeit a little overwrought, but it is a valid challenge and question.

I am not thin skinned, but do not care for the ridicule that accompanies some of the debate here. I do not participate in it. A read through my posts will show that I am respectful and nearly always use my own words to defend what I believe.

I ask the same of others, that’s all and when someone crosses the line or says something so egregious, I choose not to continue engaging them.

It’s a personal thing for me, as I do no wish to get caught up in anger toward that person and responding to a poster is a little like a Lays potato chip, one cannot stop with just one and then off it goes to the inevitable invective, ad hominem or ridicule.

Not for me, but if it suits you, then more power to you.
