Notice that a direct quote was not used, even though we all know Alex's propensity to show off his cybrarian skills? Using a direct quote would have denied him the ability to twist the statements to meet what he sees in them, not unlike his many Rorschach references.
The Catholic Freeper in question clearly states that he recognizes the hierarchy within the Revealed Word that places the words and examples of Jesus above all else and that these actual words and deeds are the context with which all other Scripture and Tradition must be interpreted. I do appreciate, though, how such a thought is anathema to Paulians.
The Catholic FReeper in question is a male? "He" clearly states something? That's weird. How would you know who I was thinking of? The FReeper I was thinking of comes off as an idle gossipy (1 Timothy 5) female.

Make up your mind whether you want quotes or not. When I provide quotes and links, you complain that I'm dragging issues from thread to thread. When I don't, you claim I'm deliberately twisting statements. I guess I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't, and unwelcome to darken the doors in a Catholic parish anyway. At least I won't have to worry about burning in Hell, though.
Oops! Should I have provided reference links to those?
