The Catholic Church already tried chaining the Bible to the pulpit by denying it to the people. They lost that battle so now attempt to keep the understanding from the people through double speak, obfuscation, and supposed mysteries.

More comic book wisdom. The first book that Gutenberg printed was the Catholic Bible. Do you have any more?

Nah, go back and read the exchange I had with your buddy. He already admitted that the RCC did in fact not allow people to read anything they didn’t ok.
