I don't get the problem. I'm trying to derive the word. I'm guessing emptor is 3rd declension, nominative: emptor, genitive: emptris, so the stem is emptr and the -ix is added to make a feminine nominative.

No I have to go research the etymologyof "co-" This is stuff I started learning in 7th grace, and my last Latin course was in 1965.

Sorry, my granddaughter is actually in her second year of Latin, I should really just call her and ask.
