Uri'el-2012>charlatan |ˈ sh ärlətən; ˈ sh ärlətn| noun a person falsely claiming to have a special knowledge or skill; a fraud. ORIGIN early 17th cent. (denoting an itinerant seller of supposed remedies): from French, from Italian ciarlatano, from ciarlare to babble. An admirable characteristic of all those who claim Christianity without actually believing in it, preferring their own concoctions.
I am Sorry; you seem to conflate
the Roman "church" with Christianity . Seek YHvH in His WORD.

I am Sorry; you seem to conflate the Roman "church" with Christianity . Not sure what you mean by the Roman 'church'. However the Nicene Creed does admirably well in separating the Christian sheep from the Gnostic (and other) goats. Don't recall if you profess it or not.

(I would not believe in the Gospel, if the authority of the Catholic Church did not move me to do so.)
