Chaput is a self-confessed member of the "tax collector" party

Former member. Try and remember the 8th Commandment, gomer and while you ponder that, post your proof that Chaput is still a registered Democrat.

I also think it’s very dangerous for the Church to identify herself with any single political party. It’s not the business of the Church to tell people to vote for any specific candidate. And while I worked for Robert Kennedy's and Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaigns as a volunteer when I was a young priest, I now believe that was a mistake. I do believe that Catholics should be politically engaged in a vigorous way. But I also think that no faithful Catholic can feel completely comfortable today in either major political party – Democratic or Republican.

"Former member."

As was Ronald Reagan. I'll also bet that Gomer wasn't always a member of his crack-pot sect either.

Chaput is not popular at the USCCB either, but now that he has moved up, I am sure the panderers will be more friendly.

Chaput is still a self-confessed member of the "tax collector" party.

Funny you should assume that I meant the Democrat Party.

No ! I understand that Chaput seems to have no concept of :

Mat 22:21 " Then He said to them,
"Then render to Caesar
the things that are Caesar's;
and to God the things that are God's."
Supporting collectivist, stateist, elitists to steal from the "called out ones"
in order to give to the undeserving special classes is not following YHvH's commandments.

It does not matter which party.
However the Democrat Party has been a Marxist party since the 60's

Try and remember the 8th Commandment, gomer

Chaput is all about Stealing from the "called out ones" and giving it to others.

That is YHvH's 8th commandment.

Or did you mean 9th commandment.

The Roman "church" is so pathetic
it can not even get YHvH's Ten Commandments correct.

Chaput also support LAWLESSNESS concerning Illegal Aliens.

Matthew 23:28 "So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men,
but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
SEE: Matt. 7:23; 13:41; 23:28; 24:12; Rom. 6:19; 2 Co. 6:14; 2 Thess. 2:3, 7; Heb. 1:9; 1 Jn. 3:4

Seek the face of YHvH in His WORD.

PS Sorry I did not get back sooner as I was out of town.
