Can you clarify? Do you believe there are no miracles happening? Or do you believe they are happening but are not from God?
I am a former Catholic, now I am simply just a believer in God, I do go to church and am evangelical. I believe that there is a lot of seeking after miracles in the Catholic church and if you look hard enough for anything, you'll find them whether they are there or not.
As to if Miracles are happening now. I honestly do not know, however, whether they are or are not it does not matter to me. The kind of miracle I would like to see is the raising of the 11 year old girl who was just murdered in New Hampshire, the one they found in the river, she deserves better. I know in the end God will right all wrongs.

I believe that there is a lot of seeking after miracles in the Catholic church I would be interested if you have any ideas into why? You likely have a unique perspective being a former.

“I am a former catholic...”.
Whenever I read words like these my first thought is always, “this person is no longer receiving Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament which is the Body, Blood Soul and Divinity of our loving creator.
Won’t you reconsider coming back home, the Eucharist is worth it!
