Sure we do. But we sure as heck will not be marrying same sex couples in our church. There will not be married gay priests either. There will not be so much as a discussion.

Heaven forbid a Catholic Freeper expresses thanks for the above facts.

Horrors.

You’re absolutely right. Catholics should not be sanctimonious because the lavender mafia infiltrated the seminaries and created the unholy mess of out-of-touch gay priests who wouldn’t understand a NORMAL family problem if it bit them on the butt, to the diabolical preying on boys and young men. The only difference is that catholic DOCTRINE has not changed. Homosexuality, homo “marriage”, divorce, abortion, and even contraception remain the venial and mortal sins that they have always been. I don’t think this makes us hypocrites—the fact that some of those things are observed mostly in the breach. The important thing is that we aren’t being told from the top that those things are no longer sinful and that we must embrace them, celebate them. The framework is there for a return to morality.
