This image makes me think he's on drugs.

I actually thought that he might be experiencing symptoms of mania, and since he is under a lot of stress, that makes more sense to me than drugs.

...and?

In the case that Fr. Corapi brought, he will have to prove that these allegations are (1) false and (2) that the accuser knew that they were false and acted out of malice. This is a very high standard of proof.

Had Fr. Corapi not brought in the case, all he needed to do would have been to leave SOLT and make a statement denying the charges, — if he felt like it, that is. Remember, outside of the issue of monastic disobedience he is not alleged to commit any prosecutable offence.

To wring hands over how horrible the allegations sound, or something about his website design is just plain stupid. Especially, the conservatives should be prepared to face slander, and grow up a bit over this.

Only God knows the full truth.

I wish Father Corapi had fully trusted in God to expose the truth as ST. Padre Pio did.

I hope this helps us all to fully trust in the Lord and to LOVE HIM even more and to love others as Christ does.

It would be a better world if we all followed the path of Jesus and respected the Truth. Even if Fr. Corapi has not fully followed the path of Christ, his preaching has led many to Christ and a better understanding of the Catholic Church.

We must realize that priests are human and subject to all our frailties and we must be strong and support of priests through our actions and prayers.

May God help us all overcome our weaknesses and help us LOVE HIm even more.

We can scoff or laugh or condemn him for ruining his own conversion story, but our duty is to pray him back home.

Well said.

This is important reminder.

I tend to believe Fr. Corapi's innocence. A man using drugs and having encounters with prostitutes wouldn't be able to preach the way he preached.

I'm actually bothered more by his current "black sheep dog" thingy than by any of the allegations against him.

I pray and hope that Fr. Corapi wins this spiritual battle and "returns" to his clerical state. And if he never talks publicly or writes again, who cares? He has already done more than thousands of other preachers in their lifetime. I'd love to see him continue to practice what he preached.

Of course. So do I. In fact, I believe that SOLT should have given him a dispensation to defend himself in civil court, rather than post innuendos about him.

He's a savvy "businessman," and that's how he can do one thing but espouse another. But being guilty of disobedience should be enough for the faithful to at least question all else. And the "'black sheep dog' thingy." Yes, I too am bothered by that; can the flag be any more red? With the advertisement for his soon-to-be-released four-part series on abortion currently displayed on his site, this "tail" just gets more and more troubling/confusing. Mary, indeed, is weeping ...

Wow! I checked that FB page. Is that yours?

THe skull church is creepy. As soon as I checked their FB page, I got a creepy, crawling feeling of evil coming from my computer. Yuck. I will offer everything today for Corpai’s reversion back to the church. Very sad.

Yes, and please feel free to comment or "like" us. I'd love to see a new face or two. *smiles*

The Skull Church looks like they are certainly attempting to do Christian good (with the 18-24-ish demographic), yet in a very non-demon/evangelical sort of way. The kid who is the head pastor is "on fire" (think it comes in part from Venti downing:)), and I can't imagine his ego sharing the stage with Corapi, but some have inferred maybe Corapi is just the financier of this group, and will only speak from time to time. (This, however, is ALLLLLL speculation. Skull Church has not responded to our inquiry.)

The Skull Church has done a very good job (technically; take a look around) with their website; it has some "cute" and hep graphics in addition to all the skulls, but they infer they are the only church to integrate skulls in their teachings, when the REAL ones have been with the CC for ages ... not to mention the "Real Jesus" too ...
People are used to seeing skulls in connection with just about everything except for church. --Link
