We heard a teaching on the Cristeros at our Catholic church, from a man who had done much research about it. Definitely the Freemasons were behind it, including Freemasons in the US who were supporting it. They are VERY anti-Catholic.

There's little chance for a Mexican to successully assimilate in the US given the shibboleths they live with in their minds.

It is a bit less clear and a little more involved in Texas. There have always been Mexicans in Texas. There were Tejanos at the Alamo and at San Jacinto. Yes there are cultural differences but we have a large number of Hispanics who are certainly integrated into the fabric.

My son-in-law is 1/2 Hispanic. I could not care more for him if he were my own son. He is very good to my daughter and is a great father to my grandson. He is NOT a Leftie, staunch Republican.

I hate it when the subject comes up.

It is always propogated by the most miss-informed people. They make the wildest accusations and speak like they have studied the subject. Generally they have read one idiot’s book.
