We heard a teaching on the Cristeros at our Catholic church, from a man who had done much research about it. Definitely the Freemasons were behind it, including Freemasons in the US who were supporting it. They are VERY anti-Catholic.

There's little chance for a Mexican to successully assimilate in the US given the shibboleths they live with in their minds. It is a bit less clear and a little more involved in Texas. There have always been Mexicans in Texas. There were Tejanos at the Alamo and at San Jacinto. Yes there are cultural differences but we have a large number of Hispanics who are certainly integrated into the fabric.
My son-in-law is 1/2 Hispanic. I could not care more for him if he were my own son. He is very good to my daughter and is a great father to my grandson. He is NOT a Leftie, staunch Republican.

It takes all kinds. I know several fellow FReepers who are scared to death of Mason and even when you point out all the Founding Fathers and all the various honest to God Patriots that have been Mason it’s like well not them, but all the others are bad. A few claim that they are all Satan worshipers, but when you ask them if that’s true then why is Bill Graham a Mason they have no answer.

I hate it when the subject comes up.
It is always propogated by the most miss-informed people. They make the wildest accusations and speak like they have studied the subject. Generally they have read one idiot’s book.
The wild ones will bring up the “The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” or the Illuminati. Or some other dribble. What they really need to read is “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Maddness of Crowds.”
Candidates for the loonie bin. hee hee hee

Calles, Allende, Bolivar... all the legendary Latin America anti-clericists (except Che) were freemasons. I’m not aware of any source which denies any of them.

This is some absurd crap that only serves to divide Christians, especially in the South where the vast majority of Freemasons are devout Christians not a party to the liberalization that's been destroying most denominations. It's like the crazy prophecy junk that goes through all kinds of contortions to point to ‘Benny and the Jets’ as being center of anti-Christian power when in reality it's ‘Turkey and the Stans’ people should be looking at as the coming center of anti-Christian efforts by the Moozlim religion of Satan.
