I’ve asked a couple other people if they had heard anything about this and have not talked to anyone who tells it the way he does. ;)
Also I had another thought about this. lol, Vance County, where Henderson, is located is solidly Democrat, so he’s saying liberals would not accept him.

"But it is also a community that struggles with racism, classism and gender discrimination."
As if he couldn't find all this in Boston
This "pastor" came to a small town with preconcieved notions of what a Southern people are and "found" what he expected to find.
Can we say he had an agenda, please?
And a "preacher" who quotes Nietzsche and not The Bible? He needs to actully read his " guidebood" and look under Leviticus for it's view on homosexuality.

They WANT the membership to fall...... Cant people see this?
It's not the first time God's people has faced this...
And God has a way of "cleaning house" too.
Just Read the Old Testament

What struck me was for a contract job -- this is a calling, a vocation, not just a job.
It's an easy job with good benefits. Babbling words (he obviously) doesn't believe in.
Just like an congressmen...

There have been over the past few months (at least as far as I've noticed -- and I'm no expert, and pretty oblivious to most news), the gays infiltrate, plan some small action to disparage or destroy each Christian group. They do this one denomination at a time.
The latest madness is that in Belfat, Northern Ireland, one group of Presbyterians -- TRADITIONAL, conservative Presbyterians had an anti-homosexual acts protest during the "Pride parade" in Belfast and the liberals said that these, "Free Presbtyerians" should no longer use the term "Presbyterian" as the other (read liberal) Presbyterians said ok to gay marriage
Expect them next to say that we conservatives can't call ourselves a church or Christian..

Although it seems bad now the Church and we Christians have been through worse.
Just keep the faith and this too will pass.
