You take yourself far too seriously, to say that my soul is in danger for not sharing your same view of the Bible.

The Eastern Orthodox Church does not see eye to eye on a few Scriptures, and they split from Rome long ago. Their differences with Rome seem trivial, by today's standards. The Orthodox and the Catholics are pretty close on most issues.

Martin Luther tried to take two Books OUT of the King James, Protestant version of the Bible.

Why? If the Bible is “Perfect” why would the very leader of the Protestant movement want to change the King James version?

And of course, Maccabees was removed from the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox versions of the original Bible, even though many of the Books that were removed from the original Bible had been scriptures available to Jesus in the Temple. Jesus never told us to remove those Scriptures, did He?

Again, you take yourself far too seriously.

God will laugh at all of us for such trivial, silly arguments.

Well, you told me twice that God would laugh at me.

And of course, if I was not clear, the King James Version of the Bible removed Books that are contained in the original versions of the Bible, still used by Catholics and the Orthodox.

I am not sure that Luther is ‘the” leader of the Protestant movement.

I think, because I guess you are a Roman Catholic, that you look for one leader (like a Pope).

There are many leaders of the Protestant movement. Luther certainly is one, but so is Wycliff, most definitely, and Zwingli, and Calvin of course, and Knox. Cromwell was certainly a leader, David Livingstone, really I could go on for a long time.

I don’t look to them for everything. I say they are leaders because historically they were part of great turning points in church history, helping certain heresies get thrown out or doing extraordinary missionary work or overthrowing great tyrants of the church.

Anyway, Luther made errors. His apparent hatred of the Jews is one. His desire to take two books out of the Bible was another. Where he errs, I will not follow. I put no man on a pedastal, I hope, except Jesus Himself.
