As a Protestant, I find this statement to be offensive and stupid.

As a Catholic, so do I.

We believe in the same Christ. We will, do, and have sinned, and He has forgiven us. IMHO, that’s the most important thing EVER.

Division between Christians who believe what I stated above only benefits the Unclean, the Lord or Lies, the Son of Perdition. It is by his unholy hand such gains strength.

The language sounds harsh, unless you compare it to what we see on occassion on these threads. :)

But, if protestants are not against the Church, then what is the point? If you’re against the Church - oppose it and it’s teaching, then I think “enemy” is a correct term.
