Actually the wise virgins kept the oil full in their lamps in preparation since they did not know when their master would return. They had no signs or seasons. They only had the hope of their master returning.
The Star of Bethlehem was only understood by the *Wise* not the foolish..Only the wise men came to see the Christ child...
However Herod understood it as well. Was Herod wise or foolish?
I think NASA is our modern day Herod......
