I wonder which is prior, the epistemological problem or the eschatology. I think that it has a whole lot to do with the problem of YOPIOS. Protestants may choose what they believe, and then select those snippets that appear to support those beliefs. I believe that Sola Yourselfa has been coined and is particularly applicable...
