It's been 1500 years since there has been a rabbinically approved sacrifice to take place in Israel and the rabbis did approve a Gentile who trained under the leadership of selected rabbis to perform the sacrifice of two turtledoves recently in Israel. The ceremony took place in the Jordan Valley near Jericho as a number of rabbis watched to make certain all Levitical laws were kept in the offering of these two doves.

There are a number of religious Jews that have been preparing for the building of the temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem who believe that Jews need to become accustomed once again to the offering of animals for the sacrifices called for when the temple is once again standing in Jerusalem.

A rabbinically approved sacrifice being performed in Israel is tangible evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. Since the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70AD there has not been an opportunity for Jews to offer any of the required sacrifices called for under Levitical law.

Over the last 2000 years there have been several occasions in different parts of the world where rabbis would approve the offering of animals in sacrifice but nothing compared to the days when the temple was standing in Jerusalem.

Recently a Gentile, one trained by a number of rabbis, performed a sacrifice of two turtledoves in the Jordan Valley near the Dead Sea, the first rabbinically approved sacrifice in 1500 years.

This is a part of a program to prepare the Jewish people for the restoration of the sacrificial system that is called for in the first 7 chapters in the book of Leviticus. Daniel 9:27 reveals that the sacrificial system will be restored when there is a temple in Jerusalem. Even the Messiah's temple described in Ezekiel 40-46 calls for sacrifices to be restored as a part of daily Jewish life.

There will be two temples in the future for the Jewish people, one in the Tribulation period and then another in the time of the Millennial Kingdom of the future. In both of these temples, sacrifices will be made. In fact for the next temple all preparations have been made and its ready to be built in Jerusalem even right now.

A sacrifice made in Israel recently is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Thank you. Odd that I was called that. Not just bad theology but wildly impractical.

never heard of this teaching ( not sure who teaches that ) but it is just as false the pre-trib rapture theory. can you give some examples of people or denominations that teach this dominion doctrine?

All would be well advised to read the Bible Mt 9 9:13 , Mt 12 12 1:8 ,Hos 6:6. Jesus demands MERCY not some man made fantasy on sacrifices. Stick to the Bible

Quick survey of some of the hits (per the suggestion of CB) it looks more like political fantasies with some wishful (and unbiblical) theology bolted on, rather than a theological school. It also looks like it is as often as not a strawman construct by critics, rather than a position held by adherents - something like the Southern Poverty Law Center defining ‘domestic terror’ and identifying threats.

Names dropped include: Schaeffer, Rushdoony and Kuyper. I read a bit of Schaeffer back in the day and don’t see it at all in his writings. Not familiar with Rushdoony and Kuyper.

A confused and confusing mishmash, poorly supported by scripture, reason or any identifiable movement that is credible.

Open to further evidence here, but that is what I see at a glance.

you are so right, the only temple of God that will ever exist is the Israel of God, The Church, which is the Body of Christ. The false teaching that people follow looking to physical Israel for fulfillment of Bible prophecy is laughable.

Boy, you punchin' all their buttons! Be prepared to be called all kinds of names.

Oh, no. I'm going to have to take back what I said in another post.

THIS is the cherry on the clueless cake. So many choices, so little time.

Not familiar with Rushdoony and Kuyper.

Rushdoony. Institutes of Biblical Law. I've got a copy, maybe 15 feet away. Haven't looked at it in over 30 years.

Abraham Kuyper. Lectures on Calvinism, from 1898, is the classic piece to read. I've heard it called the original worldview book.

Postmillenialism, with a weird militant eschatological twist, is (so I read) being taken up by a bunch of cultic fringe Pentecostalists. Now them I'd worry about. If I understand it correctly, some of them expect to be waging the end times war.

You are correct. It is repulsive and an disgusting sight. It’s also supposed to represent the price of sin. That’s the point. the Lord hates sin much more than we could ever be repulsed by blood. Yet, it says in Isaiah 53 that God chose to crush His Son, His Only Son in order to atone for our sin and redeem our relationship with Him.

i’m ready. so much false teaching would fall by the way side if people just realized the Israel of God is not made up of semetic dna, but of faith in Jesus Christ, whether the dna is Jew or Gentile. The Kingdom of God exists now and Jesus reigns as King.

BTW, Kohath was a son of Levi – one of the Twelve Sons of Israel. Kohath was an ancestor to Moses and his brother Aaron, from who all members of the Hebrew priesthood descend. Today, many people who have the surname Cohen, Kahn, Cohn or Kahan are members of this family.

You'll find that for dispensationalists, the distinction between Israel and the Church is an absolutely unquestionable axiom. They can't even look at it.

Are you aware of the sacrifices that will be made during the Millenial reign of Christ?

Very puzzling Scriptures, those.

URIEL 2012 . . . any comment? Giovanna?

Evidently you think John made mistakes in Revelation as he described the 3rd Temple and the daily etc. sacrifices up to the time at the 3.5 year mark in the Tribulation period when the AntiChrist/Anarchist sets up his image to be worshiped as God in the Temple’s Holy of Holies. . . . at which point the Jews realize they bet on the wrong and false messiah and run for the hills as they are slaughtered by the thousands.
