No offense to you but a “Religion Moderator” is not needed on FR. We talk here about religion and politics so where would we be if a moderator started telling us what we can say and who we can say it too? I agree that bad language and racism needs to be controlled but beyond that, this still is America right? ( I don't mean this as a smart ass, I've been on FR for a lot of years and love this site but if we are going to be regulated by the ACLU???? Is there a caucus that is for Protestants only? If not, why not?

There are several thread types on the Religion Forum: prayer, devotional, caucus, ecumenical and open.

No debate of any kind is allowed on prayer or devotional threads.

Caucus threads are labeled, e.g. "Catholic Caucus" "Reformed Caucus" "Dispensationalist Caucus" and only members are to post. They are like church meetings held behind closed doors. Do not disturb.

No antagonism is allowed on RF threads labeled "ecumenical."

All other Religion Forum threads are "open" by default. Anyone may post for or against. It is a town square format and can become very contentious.
