* Chewing gum before you receive the Host.

* Drinking the Starbucks coffee you brought into the pew before Mass.

* Talking to your neighbor and giggling immediately after reception.

These abuses ended with our new pastor.

The greatest abuse is receiving Him knowing you are in mortal sin.

Especially difficult to deal with if you are in one of those dioceses that are miserly with absolution.

I try to stay away from the Bishop, because I’m afraid I’ll add shouting at him in rage to my other sins.
