Is there something fundamentally wrong with being happy and enjoying life? I don’t want to get into a debate, just curious about your views.
Absolutely not, I think the question is what is the source of our happiness and enjoyment. Again happiness is based upon circumstance it is a feeling. Joy is so much more than that and it lasts and it not based upon how one is feeling at the moment. For me Christ is my source, I delight in this life, in wonder of His wonderful creation and am filled with joy when I ponder His grace towards me. Much of the world however is made happy by possessions, circumstance and the affairs of life. They want the American Dream more than Christ.
