Believe it or not marbren, pastors are held to a higher standard as a result of their calling. If a pastor believed as you stated, he has violated his vow because he hasn't held to the Lutheran confessions as well as not holding to the LCMS' positions on that subject. Heresy? who cares? he would have violated his promise of fidelity to preach and teach LCMS doctrine which he has already affirmed. Removal? an honest faithful man would remove himself when he can no longer fulfill the requirements of his post. I agree
