I disagree - don’t confuse hate for fear. They clearly hate her the most because she assails Obama the most viciously, which they hate. Their worst case scenario would be watching Sarah get sworn in with Obama standing there (a visual that I’ll admit makes me giddy), but I think her really bad polling numbers with Independents would give the worst president in history a big advantage in 2012 - something he does not deserve. If we held the White House and Chuck Schumer were entertaining a run for president, we’d mock him over and above any garden variety Democrats also considering a run.
Think about this, though. Can you imagine Chuck Schumer (or any other Democrat or Republican) being able to withstand what Gov. Sarah Palin has gone through since September 2008?
