The only message is to remember to wear your seat belt while driving.

There is a bigger message - this blog is an excellent example of why women should not rebel against Scripture and claim for themselves the role of "pastor". (1 Timothy 2:12)

David Wilkerson died while in rebellion to the traffic laws. Furthermore, how can he be a "sacrificial lamb" when the Scriptures say that the typical life-span is seventy years (Psalms 90:10) and he lived nearly a decade after that? Do these people expect immortality ?

The author then comes up with some nonsense of there being a "prophecy" of his regarding a tornado outbreak, but somehow she misses the greatest tornado outbreak in a single 24 hour period back in '74 and the longest continuous outbreak in '92. (Remember, God only cares about the united States and Israel and no where else) The reason why this inconvenience was ignored is because nothing else came about and these Premillennial Dysfunctionalists are eagerly expecting global destruction and turmoil to satisfy their blood lust for death, carnage and divine Judgment.

Many of Wilkerson's fantasies about a fallen earth were already well underway in Europe and in many leftist urban areas of the US, and thus his "prophecies" were nothing more than exaggerating all of those things already occurring. Nevertheless, people who think all history begins the moment they were born eat this dreck up and that is why David is venerated - because he hated America and deeply hoped that God would kill us all in vengeance.

I thought you were a

REPLACEMENTARIAN

who INSISTS--

BIBLICALLY (within Biblical intent)

That there are no longer

any JEWS, NOR GREEKS, MALES NOR FEMALES BEFORE GOD!

======================================================

Oh, right . . . EXCEPT where Y'all in your exceedingly preening pontificance decree rather arbitrarily and with an abundance of a self-righteous tone etc. . . .

that the Bible didn't mean THAT!

There are other perspectives . . .

actually, he was passing a car and misjudged the oncoming truck, or didn't see it. Alas, accidents like this are common in the elderly, whose vision is not as good as the young and who often have slower reflexes. He wasn't in "rebellion" he made a mistake. Most of us have been in similar situations but managed to pass the car in front of us in time to avoid an accident.

His passing was God's time for him, and I mourn. I agree with you the hysteria that it was a "warning" of the end of time is a bit overblown.

On the other hand, many of Pastor Wilkerson's prophecies, good and bad, have come true: His prophecy that the East would have Christianity preached to them by other Christians from Asia sounded ridiculous 30 years ago, but now some estimate ten percent of China is Christian. Ditto for Russia, where the Orthodoxy is thriving and smaller Christian churches are too.

His predictions of the gay infiltration of society and the churches also came true. His vision of "career folks" in churches, especially in the Catholic church, was also true, but the strategy of John Paul II to do a "hail mary pass", and instead of fighting them and maybe being eliminated, he went straight to the youth to preach full Christianity. The "John Paul II" generation is now growing up and starting to take over...as a result, the takeover of the Catholic church is being threatened, although the liberals are still strong in Europe and parts of the US...(Catholic will know what I mean: The Vatican types that gave us certain bishops who were liberal and forgave pedophiles instead of kicking them out, while they allowed liberal nuns to destroy their convents, pushing out the nuns who still were Christian).

Finally, in the past few years he has been warning about an economic collapse.

Some of his predictions were wrong, such as more attacks against the US when the 1990 Gulf war started, and he confessed that to his people he got that part wrong, but he did point out that the outpouring of prayers may have postponed the judgment but that only full repentance would stop the US spiral into an anti christian state.

No, I'm not an "Obama antichrist" type, but I do know that Obama removed the laws protecting the consciences of docs and others who don't want to do abortions. And I don't think it will stop here.
