I came close to crying over the dead tree that hurricane Ike
pushed over onto my boat and my barn. I was sad about that.
Otherwise not so much.

My house is full of dead trees. You can’t open your eyes in here without seeing dead trees.
I walk on them, sit on them, use them for home security, serve meals on them, store
