Wow. The Bishop has to read that and then choose to remain in the ECLA. Unbelievable.

Not so unbelievable. The Bishop, like so many in the ELCA leadership, is willfully blind to the truth. The Archangel Michael and the Apostle Paul could appear to them, informing them of the error of their ways, and they would find a way to rationalize it and claim Michael and Paul, and by extension G_d himself, supported this bold new direction of the Church.

It's truly sad, and disgusting.
