It makes a difference to some folks because the Seventh Day Adventists and other sabbatarian legalist cults want to believe He was crucified on a Wednesday because that would mean He had to raise again on Saturday, thus confirming (in their minds) sabbatarianism.
Noted. I was wondering what the point of the insistence on Wednesday might be. I've not encountered that before.

I never heard that, but, apparently, you didnt read this either, for the 3 days are proven to be three Sabbath days, not just one Sabbath day
