My guess is you haven't come face-to-face with these Scriptures:
In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you alsonot the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ... (1 Peter 3:20-21)
38 Peter replied, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far offfor all whom the Lord our God will call. (Acts 2:38-39)
Why isn't that interesting. A promise for children...and even children yet to be. And the focus in v. 39 is upon whom the Lord will call -- NOT simply who calls upon the name of the Lord (Acts 4:12).

There ya go making assumptions.
Baptism is a profession of faith. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
Baptism does not make you a believer, it symbolizes that you already believe. Its important to understand that baptism does not save you. You are saved only through your faith in Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith it is the gift of Godnot by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Wow, you don’t get it do you?
One who has faith does not have to quote nor belittle to know....you don’t know.
You need to work on that.
