That confirms my reply to MarkBsnr in his post. The verses deal with our temporal body vs. our Heavenly body. Of course, I knew that from familiarity with those verses, but didn’t know their being co-opted.

In fact, I’m saddened to see the information has to come from non-Mormons instead of one who professes their faith and was specifically asked for clarification. Not only was there no clarification, but a snub.

I asked what I believe to be a legitimate question. The LDS faith claims to be built on both the Bible and their own religious books. So, one would believe those sources to be in concordance. And that was the foundation of my inquiry; what is the concordance between the Bible, D&C, PoGP on ‘3 degrees of glory’?

I've posted a number of time before on the actions of Joseph Smith at certain times of the year, the proximity to manure piles, and their relationship to his visions as he and Sidney Ridgon have related them in writing. There are several treatises that in my opinion have much merit and scientifically explain much of how the LDS theology came to be in the first place and how it evolved. That methodology is open to everybody (assuming that the drug laws in the United States or your particular locale do not apply to you):

Magic mushrooms. Loaded with psilocybin, which causes hallucinations. Call it LSD for the LDS. A suitable subject for a doctoral degree in both theology and in psychiatry. No, I am not kidding.

****

You were not snubed I am only one being and it was witness in many of your post your mind was made up! I been around that block too many times with posters just baiting and wasting my time!

Did you check to see where that source came from an is it accurate?

did it was come another anti LDS who and so on and so on...

BTW greyforx is an x Mormon.

I take nothing on here say even my conversion I still did my homework and used the only scriptures I had at the time the Lord’s Bible and I also received the witness of the Holy Ghost and the Book of Mormon it is the same Spirit.

Reason is only one element to faith not the end all and if one will not take the time to learn the langauge of the Holy Spirit they will always be limited to their awareness.
