Jew-baiting wouldn't be tolerated for one second by a Christian. Why is LDS-baiting tolerated?

And, of course, this all depends upon how you define "baiting."

In the best sense of the word, "baiting" has a fishing connotation. Jesus said, "I will make you fishers of men"; hence 'tis nothin' wrong with that.

Somehow, I don't think you mean it that way -- but rather than assume -- and read minds -- like you might be doing...I'll ask you: "How do you mean 'baiting'?"

Because if you mean it in the worst sense of the word, that means you're superimposing a motivation upon posters...a motivation that unless you are inside of them, tell us, how would you know -- other than if you're a mind-reader?

Do you read motivations of the internal mind? If so, how? But please, if you mean this in the best sense of the word, tell us, and then proceed to inform us why evangelizing both Jews and Mormons shouldn't be tolerated according to online edicts from 1010RD?

Nice try, but there's no need to tar me with the "mind reading is a form of making it personal" argument. I'm not making it personal and my comment isn't directed at any person, but is a general statement.

Here's the definition I was thinking of:

Jew-baiting n active persecution or harassment of Jews Jew-baiter n

So if one were to insert Mormon or LDS it would read, "LDS-baiting n active persecution or harassment of LDS Mormon-baiter n"

Now I am not mind reading, simply observing and drawing logical conclusions.

That's called science. Primitives don't ask why it rains. It takes a level of sophistication to make a hypothesis from observation. Next I'll test my hypothesis.
