I remember when I watched Glenn Beck’s video on becoming a Mormon where he said he was willing to “drink” the kool aid. So it makes me wonder how many others are willing to suspend the truth to chase after happiness?
I’ve had mormons tell me that even if they were told by SLC it was not true, they would continue on.
The reasons are as varied as the people, but nonetheless, it tells/shows me that, as you said, they are willing to suspend truth for happiness.
