Whatever.
As an aside, I think this is an appropriate prayer for Catholics to pray when coming on threads such as these:
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray:
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
I fail to see the rationale behind the thinking that disobeying God is going to protect one from spiritual attack.
Sinning always leaves on open to spiritual attack.
But pray away to idols if it makes you feel better.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.[...]
That's funny... Roman Catholics seem to spend so much time trying to explain how the only "prayer" that occurs is to God. Thanks for being truthful.
Where are we taught in scripture to pray to anyone other than God?

I think Michael is busy with the call God gave to him as the defender of Israel .
Michael is called "the great prince" and "guardian" of the people of Israel, who overcomes the guardian angel of Persia (Daniel 10:13; 12:1).
I do not remember Jesus giving anyone the right to reassign His angels..
