Usually, a “barf alert” is in order. But I think the barf was organically tied to this one.

If you have a vice, there’s a religion that will condone and even promote it.

They also worship Mary instead of CHRIST as the mediator between man and God, despite the Holy Bible clearly stating...

Wow. Hope you're ready for an earful. (BTW, I agree with you)

It depends on what they mean. I support gay rights. Gay Americans have and should have the rights to freedom of speech, of the press, of religion, the right to peaceably assemble, the right to bear arms, and every other right that all other Americans have. Where they lose me is at the suggestion that being gay gives someone extra rights, such as controlling my behavior, my religious values, or my speech.

“Favoring “civil unions” is the same as favoring “same-sex ‘marrage’”, so that analysis doesn’t wash.”

I'd like to see the actual list of questions.

I.e.: "Which do you support for homosexuals: marriage or civil unions?"

There are far too many CINOs running around calling themselves Catholic, but even these numbers see high.

The Episcopalians
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
Lutherans—ECLA
Presbyterian
United Church of Christ
Quakers

all accept practicing homosexuals in their congregations. Some allow for ordinations.

“all accept practicing homosexuals in their congregations.”

How is one to reach the lost unless one has the opportunity to fellowship with them?

“Some allow for ordinations”

Which is completely out of line.

Protestants on the other hand would know that many of the Protestant Churches already support same sex marriage to the chargrin of a lot of Protestants!

The thing is, if you quizzed these homosexualized Protestant "churches" you'd also find that they don't really believe ANY of the doctrines necessary to be considered a Christian. Many of them don't even believe in God! Accepting homosexuality isn't a big leap for them at all.

Therefore, they aren't even Christian churches; but faux-"Churches"; impostors just exercising a sham. What a brilliant strategy for the Devil to try to discount Christ's true Body.

Earth to Pollster, those aren't "gay" rights, they're American rights.

I think I get the gist of what you're saying, but we have to understand the language of the Left to combat them.

“what is the Church doing about it?”

What can the Church do about it besides have an inquisition?

That would be a start. And put Pelousy at the top of the list.

You know, when you post something like this, people aren’t going to just sit back and let your ridiculous assertions go unchallenged.

Glad someone sees that inquisitions have their purpose.

I’m sick of Muslim-Christian comparisons, citing crusades and inquisitions as proof of Christianity being just as violent as Islam.

Although they were not by any means perfect, crusades and inquisitions happened for a reason. Too often, even those on a conservative site like FR don’t realize that.

As for who would be on the list, I’d probably also put Nancy on the top, but the list would be quite extensive.

“WPaCon to BlackFemaleArmyCaptain...”You know, when you post something like this, people aren’t going to just sit back and let your ridiculous assertions go unchallenged.”

Wpacon, go ahead and challenge TRUTH - I’m backed by CHRIST and the Holy Bible! God’s Word is very clear! True Christians rely ONLY on CHRIST Crucified and NOT on ANY church (in this case the Catholic Church), Mary, or their own “works.” “For by Grace are you saved through FAITH (in CHRIST); and that NOT of yourselves: it is the Gift (JESUS CHRIST) of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

Lastly, even Mary knew she needed The Saviour for Salvation...”And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in GOD MY SAVIOUR.” (Luke 1:46-47)

THANK YOU, JESUS - MY GOD AND MY SAVIOUR!!!

"What can the Church do about it besides have an inquisition?"

They could start claiming that the real Catholic Church is invisible and all the people who show up may or may not be members of the real and invisible Church. Then, no matter what anyone does, they can just say, "they weren't really a member of the real Church" and since it's an invisible church, no one can prove otherwise.

“Wpacon, go ahead and challenge TRUTH”

I’m challenging your post, which is not the truth.

“True Christians rely ONLY on CHRIST Crucified and NOT on ANY church (in this case the Catholic Church)”

For the first 1,500 years of Christianity all Christians were part of churches, except for heretics, who really should not be considered Christian.

“Mary”

In your first post you said Catholics worship Mary instead of Christ. That is a blatant falsehood.

“their own “works.””

Catholics believe that they are saved by God’s grace, not their own works.

“Lastly, even Mary knew she needed The Saviour for Salvation”

Catholics will tell you the exact same thing.

You said in your other post:

“Catholics engage in witchcraft (praying to dead saints and statues)”

1) Please explain how Catholics engage in witchcraft.

2) The saints Catholics pray to are not dead, and prayer is not the same as worship.

3) Catholics do not pray to statues.

What you have posted is not the truth.

You’re arguing against what you think Catholics do and believe not what they actually do and believe.

You still haven’t proved any of what you said in the first post.

If you admit to being wrong, I’ll sincerely thank you.

“They could start claiming that the real Catholic Church is invisible and all the people who show up may or may not be members of the real and invisible Church.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe a trait of the Church is that it is visible.

I think what you want is very similar to the current situation.

If there is a bad Catholic such as Pelosi, we can just say that she is not following what the Church teaches and is a Catholic in name only.

To: WPaCon

I realize that being visible is a tenant of the One True Church and have no problem with it.

I also realize that the vast majority of those who attack the Church are on an invisible membership list in an invisible church that has invisible proof showing anyone who is caught for something evil was never really a real member in that invisible church.

The Cathoilic doctrine is not of God. Please Read The Holy Bible...King James Bible - ALL THE ANSWERS ARE THERE! You have a nice day.
